General Information
As a Committee, our purpose is to keep each other and our parish community informed about ways in which we can make a difference in promoting justice in our community and in the world, from our uniquely Catholic and African-American perspective. In the past, we have focused on issues that are particular importance to members of the Committee. We have done everything from door-to-door voter registration, to hosting candidate forums, to participation in immigrant rights demonstrations, to hosting the screening of an independent film about oppression in Southern Cameroon. Basically, we seek to be an information hub for our community, informing them of action steps that they can take to be involved.
