Bankin'-It!
The vision of Bankin'-It! is to alleviate the stress and distress caused by the daily struggle for food so many families and individuals face. Bankin-It! sponsors food distributions once a year around the holiday season. Since 1998, we have served over 1,000 families in the community.
Thank you to all those who participated in our 2008 Bankin'-It program. We couldn't have done it without you. We served over 100 families. May you all have a blessed 2009.
Volunteer Opportunities: You can help by taking home a piggy bank and putting change in it during the year. Contact Steve Hoffman (651-457-4315) if you are interested in getting a piggy bank. There are over 80 piggy banks in homes across America. The funds are collected, pooled, and used to purchase the food. Volunteers are needed for the shopping, assembly, and distribution of the food.
