Knights of Peter Claver Council 256
KPC will be awarding two (2) five hundred dollar scholarships ($500.00) to two students at Saint Peter Claver School this current school year. Eligible students must be in the 7th or 8th grade and must have the following qualifications:
- Active participation in Christian functions
- Demonstrate some school leadership
- Show academic improvement
The 7th and 8th grade staff will make recommendations to Principal Charles Vickers who will then select the scholarship recipients.

We are the local chapter of a National Fraternal organization.
Our objectives are:
- to be a staunch supporter to the local pastor & bishop
- to participate collectively in various parish & community activities
- to promote Civil Improvements
- to encourage Lay Apostolic & Catholic action
- to make contributions to worthwhile causes
- to award scholarships
- to foster recreational assemblies & facilities
- to develop youth
- to provide social & intellectual fellowship for its members, as well as proper guidance and participation in the ever changing structure of our social & economic life through this Catholic lay organization.
Having recently reorganized, we are actively soliciting members for service ideas. Current activities include our annual Mother's Day Brunch, youth development, and prison ministry. Activities are only limited by the interest, abilities, and availability of our members.
