Requirements for Sacrament Preparation

 

  • Baptism - Please contact the parish office at 651-646-1797 to schedule an appointment with the pastor.

 

  • First Communion - Your child must be in the 2nd grade and is required to attend First Communion classes.  Students in Catholic school must also register.  Sunday classes for students not in Catholic school begin on September 28. 

 

  • Reconciliation - You must be baptized and have made your First Communion.  Sunday classes for students not in Catholic school begin on September 28.  Confession is available every Saturday at 3:00 PM or anytime by appointment. 

 

  • Confirmation - In response to several requests for Confirmation, St. Peter Claver’s next class will begin in January 2009.  Registration will begin the first week in December 2008.  Candidates must be a sophomore or junior in high school as of January 2009.  Watch this space, and our website (stpc.org), for future announcements in December.  Thank you for your interest. 

 

  • Marriage Preparation - Preparation must begin at least three (3) months before planned date of marriage.  Please contact the parish office at 651-646-1797 to schedule a meeting with the pastor.

 

  • Annointing of the Sick - Please contact the parish office at 651-646-1797 to speak with the pastor or deacon.
